The Official J.R.R. Tolkien Facebook page has said that a “big announcement” will be made sometime tomorrow.

They have also included the above tantalising picture in the post.

What is Tolkien’s Tale of Beren & Lúthien about?

With just under three weeks to go before the release of the publication of Beren and Lúthien, I thought I’d write a quick post about my thoughts on the oft mentioned couple and their place within the Tolkien legendarium.

‘Beren and Lúthien’ Delayed

Over the last couple of days, news has emerged that the publication of Beren and Lúthien, the new Tolkien book, has been pushed back and will now be released on June 1st.

Originally intended for a May publication, there has not yet been any official statement on what has caused this delay.

One can only speculate.
