Celebrating One Year of Blogging!

Header (One Year)

It’s been exactly one year since I wrote my first post for this blog (‘The Journey Begins!’).

Back then I was uncertain how things would develop and I certainly couldn’t see myself still writing about Tolkien 12 months later.

Many thanks to Raelea Hiller for inviting me to join the Writing Process Blog Tour! I’ve never done anything like this, so I’m honoured to have been chosen to be a part of the experience.

Raelea’s blog The Starlit Forest is a haven for people fascinated by poetry and novel writing. Her style of writing is unparalleled and her posts reveal the formation of a brilliant author that will undoubtedly rise through the ranks of acclaimed writers.

So, thanks once again Raelea! 🙂

Liebster Award Nominations

Liebster Award

Trying out a new layout … (perhaps, with varying degrees of success)

I’ve been thinking a lot about the layout of the blog for these past few weeks now.

While I tend to prefer the less fanciful designs and colours, I was beginning to think that the white background was becoming just a tad bit … boring.

Which is why I’ve decided to try-out this new design for the blog. Hopefully, the posts can be read on a larger area and the “combination” of colours should help in keeping things both organized and fresh.

Hope you’ll find this layout agreeable – and if not, shout out your comments here 🙂

In the meantime, my next post will consist of a book review about Tolkien’s Middle-earth – a very recent publication … stay tuned!
