Happy Hobbit Day 2017!

Yep, we made it.

Another year and another Hobbit Day celebration.

Whilst wishing Bilbo and Frodo Baggins a very happy birthday, it’s time to observe some fan festivities to honour this special occasion.

I myself just finished watching The Fellowship of the Ring (extended), after what has been probably a year (which is unheard of for me). It was incredible.

Yesterday was also the 80th Anniversary since the publication of The Hobbit in 1937.

What a day that was. Just imagine, no Hobbit would have meant no Lord of the Rings, Silmarillion, etc

Dear, oh dear! what a sadder world it would have been …

Thankfully that is not the case.

Well, I’m off to watch The Two Towers next. I wish you all a Happy Hobbit Day!

  1. I hope you had a great day! 🙂
That is such a sad thought! The world of books would have had space on a shelf left empty (metaphorically speaking) if The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillion; etc., hadn’t been written.
