Well, it’s a very happy belated birthday to this blog!
8 July 2013 was as normal a day as any other, except I had this persistent thought.
Just what if I took the plunge and started a blog on Tolkien? Would people enjoy reading my ideas and opinions? Will I find things to talk about? Will I be able to maintain it for a certain amount of time?
Four years later, I seem to have ticked most of those boxes.
As I’ve always said in such posts, A Tolkienist’s Perspective wouldn’t be anything without my dedicated followers and commentators who read, discuss, express and share their thoughts on my posts.
It is a wonderful thing to be surrounded by such wonderful people who make you feel at home and among friends.
So thank you once again for being faithful to this blog and here’s to many more years to come! 😀
