I Have A New Blog!

It’s official. I’ve started a new blog.

As if I’m not busy enough overseeing the smooth running of A Tolkienist’s Perspective, here I am going down the crazy (but enjoyable) road towards the creation of yet another blog.

Yes, my fellow readers. I hereby announce the birth of ‘The Trials of Sherlock Holmes’.

The intention behind this new creation is to post a series of short stories, which I am currently writing, about the titular detective’s adventures in Victorian London.

The first of these short stories has already been published.

I would like to invite anyone who is an ardent reader of Arthur Conan Doyle’s original works to follow my own humble writing attempts as I delve into this rich world of endearing characters and thrilling adventures.

Should you find yourself enjoying the content on the blog, I would like to ask you to help spread the word. For that, you’ll receive my sincere thanks and gratitude (and a few more stories … 😉 )

I’ve also started a separate Twitter account on: @SherlockTrial.

Finally, I do hope you enjoy this new venture; and don’t worry, there’s plenty more Tolkien-related content coming on this blog!

  1. Brilliant stuff, I’ve followed both the blog and the Twitter account and look forward to reading your work on Sherlock Holmes, it definitely seems like a promising endeavour!

  2. That’s so cool! Continuing the legacy 🙂 I’m a big fan of the Sherlock Holmes stories so I’ll be reading!

  3. Awww, it sounds great. I’m a Sherlockian to the core so I’m sure I’ll love it. Good for you in branching out!

  4. Wonderful, I’ll sign up to that but may be quiet at first since I’m awaiting my new pc and this poor old thing that belonged to my late husband is really struggling! I’m certain the new blog will be very popular.
